Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of Wattnap. By using the app you accept them.
What Wattnap is
Wattnap awards points for time your phone spends charging. Points are a reward balance inside the app. They are not money, not a security, and not a cryptocurrency. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
How points are earned
Points accrue for each minute the phone reports that it is charging, multiplied by your rate. The rate depends on session length, your streak, your level, and any active boost. We pay for up to nine hours of charging per calendar day in your time zone. Points earned overnight sit in a pending balance: collect them within 24 hours to keep all of them, within seven days to keep half. After that they expire.
Fair use
Do not fake charging sessions, script the app, run it on emulators, create multiple accounts, or invite accounts that are not real people. We may reduce your reputation score, withhold points, or close an account that does these things.
Rewards
Points can be exchanged for items shown in the store while stock lasts. Availability, prices in points, and partners can change. Items delivered by a partner are subject to that partner's own terms. If an item cannot be delivered, we return the points.
Availability
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of Wattnap. If we discontinue the service, we will give notice in the app and a reasonable window to spend outstanding points.
Your account
You are responsible for the device you use. You can delete your account at any time in your profile, which erases your balance along with everything else.
Liability
Wattnap is provided as is. We are not liable for indirect or incidental damages, or for loss of points caused by circumstances beyond our control. Nothing here limits rights you have under the mandatory law of your country.
